Management Team
First Choice International Placement Inc. is led by husband-and-wife team Beth Mercer and Collin Mercer, whose combined leadership and dedication have helped shape the organization into one of Canada’s most respected international student support providers.
Beth Mercer
Beth oversees the Homestay Services Division and leads the company’s Quality Assurance initiatives, ensuring that the high standards of care, support, and service that define our organization are consistently delivered across all programs.
She is supported by an experienced team of Placement Consultants, a Host Family Recruitment Coordinator, Host Family Interviewers, and administrative professionals who work collaboratively to recruit, screen, place, and support host families and students throughout their program experience.
Collin Mercer
Collin oversees the Guardianship Services Division and is responsible for the company’s overall Operational Management. As the Director, Custodianship Services, Collin is supported by a Program Manager who serves as the named Custodian for the minor-aged international students receiving guardianship services and a dedicated team of Custodian Representatives who support students throughout their stay in Canada.
In his operational role, Collin is supported by a team of Accounting professionals and a Human Resource Coordinator who help ensure the effective administration and ongoing success of the organization.
